IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts is a division of GRUPO IBEROSTAR, a Spanish hospitality company. IBEROSTAR was founded by the Fluxá family in 1930 when they purchased several travel agencies, and today the fourth generation of the Fluxá family has immersed itself in the company, following the family's more than 75 years experience in the travel industry. GRUPO IBEROSTAR operates in 16 countries with a staff of more than 20,000.

The Grand Collection also offers an upscale, all-inclusive dining experience, incorporating regional culinary offerings to ensure guests can indulge their palates with a taste of authentic destination cuisine. Restaurants include gourmet buffets with local and traditional cuisine in addition to a la carte and themed Mexican, Italian, Gourmet, Japanese, Steakhouse, French, Mediterranean specialty restaurants, whose menus rival some of the finest restaurants around the world. Premium liquors, wines and beers from around the globe are served. What is the difference between IBEROSTAR, IBEROSERVICE and IBEROSTATE?
- IBEROSTAR is the hotels and resorts division of GRUPO IBEROSTAR.
- IBEROSERVICE provides ground services to approximately 4.5 million travelers each year and manages all aspects related to the reception of inbound tourists, including contracting hotels and coordinating local excursions in its destinations including Spain, Portugal, Venezuela, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil.
- IBEROSTATE is the international real estate division, which specializes in residential developments (golf villas and condos) within resort complexes. In the next five years, IBEROSTATE will invest in four residential projects that will include golf courses, restaurants and shopping centers in the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Mexico, and Morocco.

- Dining. - Golf. IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts have some of the world's best golf courses designed by prolific golf architects including P.B. Dye. The 18-hole IBEROSTAR Playa Paraíso Golf Club (Mexico) is part of the Playa Paraiso Resort and ranks as the 13th best course in Mexico. Dye has designed courses at the new Iberostar Bahía (Brazil), the IBEROSTAR Bavaro (Dominican Republic) and the IBEROSTAR resort in Marrakesh.
- Spas. IBEROSTAR designs innovative spas and treatment facilities to meet the latest trends in relaxation and personal wellness. IBEROSTAR spa facilities include treatment rooms, thalassotherapy and steam baths. Treatments range from relaxing massages on the beach to holistic therapies that soother the mind, body and soul.
- Kid's Activities. IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts properties offer spacious playgrounds and children's pools, where families can safely enjoy the water. Lucy's Mini-Clubs, for children ages 4-12, offer fully-supervised, age-appropriate activities, such as painting, swimming, sandcastle building contests, movies and Olympic Games. - Fitness. The 'Fit & Fun' program offers up to 19 different activities (Pilates, aqua gym, aqua fit, stretching, aerobics, Nordic Walking) allowing guests to enjoy the outdoors and their vacation destination while staying fit. - Entertainment. The Starfriends, a multinational and multilingual team, are in charge of entertaining Iberostar guests. - In the evenings, Starfriends perform shows at the theaters located on each property. Shows include: Miss Iberostar, Ideal Couple and Iberogrammy (which include guest participation), or Las Vegas, Musical Highlights, Boogie Nights, Star World, Hollywood, Pirates, Magic, Tropical Fantasia (only at the Grand), and Big Band (only at the Grand).

- Congress and Exhibitions Center Islantilla (Huelva, Spain). It has 18 conference and meeting rooms and a big amphitheatre for 1,100 people.
- Congress and Exhibitions Center Campo de Gibraltar (Cádiz, Spain). It has 8 conference and meeting rooms, an auditorium for 1,100 people and two big exhibitions rooms (more than 10,700 square feet).
- Convention Center Playa Paraíso (Mexico). It has seven conference rooms and an auditorium for 1,200 people (more than 15,800 square feet).
- Hammamet Medina Yasmine Convention Center (Tunisia). It has six meeting rooms, an exhibition hall (more than 5,300 square feet) and an auditorium for 1,300 people.
- Kos Internacional Convention Center (Greece). It has 20 meeting rooms (more than 43,000 square feet) for 5,000 people. Moreover it has two exhibition halls (more than 32,200 square feet).

- IBEROSTAR firmly believes in preserving the environment and is focused on measures that optimize water and energy use and optimize purchasing procedures and encourage suppliers to minimize packaging.
- We also require our hotels to use biodegradable detergents (Ecolab).
- IBEROSTAR respects the local environment by incorporating nature in its hotels' overall design through the replanting of indigenous plants and the creation of habitats for local wildlife. Iberostar collaborates with national and local authorities to maintain and recover local wildlife. The company also has biologists and experts on staff.
- All of IBEROSTAR's Majorcan establishments have obtained their environmental certification under the European Union's EMAS regulations and the UNE-EN-ISO 1400:2004 standard. All of Iberostar's resorts worldwide are working towards these standards, to show the company's commitment to the environment.
- Since 2000, IBEROSTAR has included environmental criteria in its procurement policy concerning the selection and approval of suppliers.
What are IBEROSTAR's expansion plans?
